Khong Takes Up New Shanghai Hotel Post

Peter Khong has been appointed General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Shanghai, Daning.

Khong began his hospitality career with the Westin Hotels & Resorts in 1989. He joined Hyatt Group in 1991, Hilton Group in 1999 and rejoined Starwood as the Executive Assistant Manager of Sheraton Dongguan Hotel in 2003.

Khong is a graduate of University of Hawaii with a minor in Hotel Operations and major in Asian Studies. During his tenure with the international chains, he was mostly involved in sales and marketing.

The hotel is slated to open in March 2007.
