China's Guizhou Province has signed an agreement with Malaysia to launch charter flights between Guiyang and Kuala Lumpur.
Local media reports that the charter flight between Guiyang and Kuala Lumpur will be launched before May this year. There will be an average of one flight per week, and the flights will be adjusted during low season and mid-season.
Zhang Penghua, director of Guizhou Provincial Tourism Bureau's Development Section, says that Guizhou has 17 minority groups and rich travel resources like Huangguoshu, so they can share their advantages with Malaysian tourists, and develop the travel industry together.
Passengers on these flights will now no longer need to transfer in Guangzhou.
