Peter Pan is the new hotel manager at JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai.

With over 29 years of hotel industry experience in the Asia-Pacific region, Pan brings his expertise and knowledge to the hotel industry in Shanghai. A native Singaporean, Pan has held numerous rooms division and operations management roles with such hotel chains as Hyatt Regency, Shangri-La, New World Hotels, The Peninsula Hotel, Renaissance and Marriott International. His most recent role was resident manager for the JW Marriott Hotel in Chongqing.

Pan replaces Franco Io who has been appointed General Manager for the new JW Marriott Beijing due to open in late 2007.
