InterContinental Shenzhen has announced the appointment of two new executives.

Robert Guo is the hotel's new assistant director of sales for the MICE market. Guo has over 10 years of hospitality experience and began developing his skills in selling to the convention and exhibition segment three years ago. Guo worked with Marriott, Hilton and InterContinental brands prior to joining InterContinental Shenzhen. His last assignment was with InterContinental Century City Chengdu and Jiuzhai Paradise.

Agnes Tan has been appointed as InterContinental Shenzhen's new director of catering sales. Tan brings with her ten years of top flight catering sales and specializes in creating themes for corporate events. Having worked with Orchard Hotel and Mandarin Oriental in Singapore, where she is a native, Tan was assistant director of catering for Raffles Hotel before joining InterContinental Shenzhen.
