Kempinski has officially announced the appointment of Eggert Muus as general manager of Kempinski Hotel Shenzhen.

Muus, a German national, speaks fluent English and German and has very good knowledge of French and Russian. A hotelier with over 24 years experience in a wide variety of hotels throughout Germany, Russia, Egypt, and Turkey, Muus brings with him a wealth of knowledge in the hospitality industry. For the past five years, Muus has collected extensive experience in China. Based in Beijing, he was much focused on preparing for the Olympics in 2008.
