Lushan Mountain has welcomed two hotel projects with total investment of RMB930 million.

One hotel has investment of RMB650 million from China Youth Travel Service, and is located at Baiyunguan Canyon. It will be built by China Youth Travel Service Shanghai Company Limited as its largest hospitality facility. As one of nine main promotion projects of Lushan Mountain for 2007, the Lushan Mountain Management Bureau and CYTS Shanghai formally signed a cooperative agreement on July 10, 2007 for this five-star standard hotel. The hotel invited East China Architectural Design & Research Institute for designing and its scheme has been approved by Jiangxi provincial government. This new hotel started its construction on December 30, 2007.

Another hotel project with RMB280 million investment made by Gold Life Investment Incorporation also began construction by the end of 2007. Located at Yangtianping resort area, this hotel will be built according to five-star standards targeting the business traveling market. It covers a construction area of 49,826 square meters and will provide business guestrooms and meeting facilities.

In 1996, the Lushan Mountain scenic spot in Jiangxi province was named a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO.
