Ma Guohua, president of HNA Tourism Holding (Group) Company Limited said that HNA Group plans to merge HNA Hotels & Resorts Group into HNA Tourism group in January.

Originally founded in 2000 and registered in Hong Kong in 2006, as of December 2006, HNA Hotels & Resorts Group owned 34 hotels with total of 10,507 guestrooms throughout more than 20 Chinese cities. All of hotels are managed by HNA International Hotels & Resorts Management Company Limited, of which about 20 at least four-star level. These hotel assets total RMB5 billion.

Public data indicates that HNA Tourism Holding (Group) Company Limited registered in Beijing with an initial capital of RMB550 million. Founded in November 2006, the group mainly consists of three airlines, two travel agencies and two advertising companies with total capital of RMB4 billion. Its operational scope includes charter flights, business aviation, public transportation, inbound and outbound tourism, and MICE business. After the first round of resource integration, in 2007, HNA Tourism group has achieved more than RMB2.2 billion revenue and has received over 300,000 tourists, compared with its original 40,000 tourists per year.

Ma Guohua told local media that HNA Tourism Holding (Group) Company Limited has a three-year plan of exceeding RMB10 billion revenue annually and adding 100 hotels. He said that the group will also be prepared for listing by 2010 and is expected to attract foreign investment.
