Chongqing Welcomes More High-end Hotels

According to the Jiangbei District of Chongqing, there will be five new five-star standard hotels under construction this year.

Currently, Jiangbei District has two five-star hotels, Kingworld Hotel Chongqing, and Chongqing Golden Resources Hotel, with a new serviced apartments property under construction and another four hotels in the pipeline. These are located on the Guanyinqiao business area and the surrounding area. Jiangbei District Government has announced that the expanded Commercial Walk Street in Guanyinqiao will open soon, and it is also expanding some roads surrounding this area. With Chongqing's fast economy development and natural tourism resources, Jiangbei District is expected to have a total of seven five-star standard hotels.

There are currently eight five-star hotels in Chongqing, and by 2020 the city is expected to have about 90 five-star hotels.
