Simon Dowell is the new director of marketing at JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai.

Dowell comes to China from Britain and has enjoyed a long career with Marriott International hotels with his previous role being director of sales and marketing for the Cheshunt Marriott Hotel, North London. He holds a BA Honours in Hospitality Management and has worked at numerous high profile Marriott hotels including London Marriott Grosvenor Square and Renaissance London Chancery Court Hotel.
