The Best Value Inn & Lexington Collection Company has made two new executive appointments for the Lexington Shenyang Rich Gate Hotel, which will open soon.

Beat Wiesmann is the new general manager and is no stranger in the Asian hospitality industry, where he has worked with such groups as the Peninsula Group, Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts and Singapore Mandarin International. His 27 years of experience, including 12 years in China, has made him a thorough professional.

Helen Zhang joined CBVI & Lexington Collection China as the director of sales and marketing. She has been working in the hospitality industry for about 12 years, and she joined the Marriott's New World Hotel in 1994 which is the first international hotel in Shenyang. She then joined the Shangri-la Hotel Group as the sales manager in 1997 and joined the Sheraton Shenyang Lido Hotel in 2000 as the senior sales manager. Since 2003 she had worked in Gloria Hotel Shenyang and then the Time Plaza Hotel Shenyang as the director of sales and marketing. During this period she also worked in the Shanghai Meeting Service Company.
