LOT Signs Codeshare Agreement With Luxair

LOT Polish Airlines signed an agreement with Luxair of Luxembourg on codesharing for the route Warsaw – Berlin – Luxembourg.

The codeshare beyond agreement entitles LOT to use its identifier for flights on the Berlin-Luxembourg-Berlin route operated by Luxair; in return, Luxair shall be able to present its commercial code for flights between on Warsaw – Berlin – Warsaw route operated by LOT.

"In the result of its agreement with Luxair, LOT shall gain access to the extremely lucrative Luxembourg market. Partnership between LOT and Luxair shall provide better access to services provided by both companies for passengers traveling between Warsaw and Luxembourg. Flights on both sections of the route shall be code shared. In the result, LOT shall gain access to another Benelux market," says LOT spokesman Wojciech Kadziolka.

LOT has been present on Benelux markets for almost sixty years. At present, the Polish airline operates every week 19 flights between Warsaw and Brussels and 20 flights between Warsaw and Amsterdam. LOT flies also directly between Wroclaw and Brussels.
