The Ambassador Hotel Shanghai owned by Shanghai Jilin Industrial Company Limited and managed by Guangdong (International) Hotel Management Holdings Limited has opened in Shanghai.

This hotel is also one of important projects of the Jilin provincial government's investment in Shanghai. Ma Junqing, standing committee member and secretary-general of Jilin provincial committee of CPC, Chen Weigen, vice provincial governor of Jilin, and Hu Yanzhao, vice mayor of Shanghai, attended the opening ceremony.

It is located in the Caojiadu Commercial Zone at the junction of Jingan, Changning and Putuo Districts, close to both the commercial zones of Zhongshan Park and Jingan Temple, and only 2 kilometers from the Nanjing West Road business area and Shanghai Exhibition Center.

The hotel has over 300 deluxe guestrooms and suites including Japanese floors and executive floors. Guestrooms are equipped with a professional business space, broadband Internet access, and flat screen LCD TV. The hotel also provides several meeting rooms of different sizes and multifunctional rooms.
