Hangzhou Airport Implements Strategic Cooperation With Air China

Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport has signed a letter of intent for strategic cooperation with Air China.

The two parties reached an intention to cooperate in five aspects including terminal buildings, parking area, maintenance business, flight rights, as well as land resources. Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport says that this cooperation will be helpful in improving the airport's service quality and operational efficiency to build it into a major passenger and cargo transportation hub.

Air China says that it will open or reopen more than one international route within a year, and plans to launch at least two international routes over the next three to five years. If opportunities develop it will open nonstop routes to either Europe or America.
