Hanting Opens New Outlet In Wangfujing, Beijing

Hanting Hotels has formally opened a new outlet in Wangfujing, Beijing.

The new hotel also is the 100th outlet of Hanting group. Zhang Tuo, COO of Hanting said that this new outlet is at the highest level among the group's three brands with room rate pricing CNY300 per night. Zhang explained that Hanting will not blindly pursue speedy expansion but will be cautious in selecting locations.

At the beginning of this year, the company began to adjust its development strategy. The number of new hotels which Hanting planned to sign in 2008 was decreased from the original 150 to160 to 100; and plans to develop in central western markets such as Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia were canceled when the company decided to focus on the Pearl River Delta and the Bohai Bay region.
