New Resort Hotel Arrives In Dalian

The Discoveryland Hotel — a supporting project of the Discoveryland Theme Park — is scheduled to open in Dalian by the middle of July 2008.

The hotel is located within the park, near to the 10-mile Golden Coast of the Golden Pebble Beach. It is built to four-star standards with a European style exterior and Japanese interior deor. The hotel has 47 Japanese style rooms, a restaurant, a business center, a gift store, and a beer garden.

The Discoveryland Theme Park has been open for two years – since 2006. It is in the Golden Pebble Beach State Tourist Resort, which is located on Liaodong peninsula — the Yellow Sea coast in the northeast of Dalian. Golden Pebble Beach was listed as a national 4A scenic spot in 2000. It is 50 kilometers from downtown Dalian.
