Park Plaza Beijing Science Park was one of the official hotels for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games — hosting guests from the International Table Tennis Federation. Ronald Ma, the hotel GM and Adham Sharara, the president of ITTF organized a table tennis friendship tournament in the hotel.
