Chongqing Jiangbei To Add More High-end Hotels

The Chongqing Guanyinqiao commercial district and its surrounding areas plan to add eight to ten five-star hotels by 2012.

Lv Zhongyin, deputy district chief of Jiangbei, said that there are currently six hotel projects under construction to five-star levels in the 6.8 square-kilometer Guanyinqiao commercial district and its surrounding areas in Jiangbei District. These hotels are scheduled to be completed over next four years.

It is reported that an 80 story building that is under construction in the Yubei Second Village in Jiangbei will include a six-star standard hotel from its 38th floor upwards.
