Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has appointed Johnson Wong to lead the team at Shangri-La's Kerry Centre Hotel, Beijing.

Prior to being appointed general manager at Shangri-La's Kerry Centre Hotel, Beijing, Wong was the general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Chengdu. A veteran of the hospitality industry, Hong Kong-born Johnson Wong began his career in 1983 at the Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong, and has since held management positions with the group in Shenzhen, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Singapore.
