IHG Appoints Zitnik To Crowne Plaza Binhai Tianjin

Joseph Zitnik has joined InterContinental Hotels Group as general manager of Crowne Plaza Binhai Tianjin.

Zitnik is no stranger to IHG having joined IHG China in 1999 as opening general manager of Crowne Plaza Shijiazhuang and subsequently working in meneral manager positions in Guam, Sanya and Phuket. He rejoins IHG from OCT International Hotel Management Company where he worked since 2006 as general manager of The Interlaken OCT Hotel Shenzhen. In 2007, Zitnik was appointed vice president of operations overseeing five OCT hotels in addition to his general manager role. He holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Hawaii.
