Air China To Launch Nonstop Chongqing-Taipei Route

The Chongqing branch of Air China will open a nonstop route from Chongqing to Taipei.

Chongqing has been added as one of the second batch departure points in mainland China for cross-strait flights and Air China says that the new nonstop Chongqing-Taipei route is scheduled to be launched on December 19, 2008, making the company the first airline in the Chongqing area to open a nonstop route to Taipei.

The new service will be operated on Fridays. The flight will departs from Chongqing at 15:10, arriving at Taipei at 18:10; and the return flight departs from Taipei at 19:20, and arrives at Chongqing at 22:30.
