Hotel Spas In Beijing

The year 2008 saw great competition among all hotel spa brands. Many star-grade hotels in China see a spa as the epitome of high-end service so that the sizes of spa promotions are increasing. A survey on spas in hotels indicates that if a five-star hotel has its own spa facilities, guests will stay for 32% longer.

Spas are popular because when business guests have finished their hectic schedule they can take advantage of the high-end service facilities in the hotel, and they become accustomed to spoiling themselves. In a spa room there are dim lights, an elegant environment, soft music, and comfortable service — offering business guests an ideal opportunity to relax and escape from the pressure of work and to be refreshed in mind and body. According to statistics, at present, most consumers who select spa services in the star-grade business hotels are male guests, and they also show a higher brand loyalty than female guests. Many business guests became loyal clients of a hotel due to its spa.

Creating a unique spa brand will help improve brand awareness and loyalty. For both own brand and co-branded spas, service is the most important thing. The assignment of service items, the professional skills of the staff, and the localization of brand service can reflect on the hotel's service levels. Feedback for this month's issue indicates that traditional Chinese medical massage has become a signature service offered by international brand hotels in China — a striking example of regionalization of star-grade hotels in China.

To integrate spa brands into a hotel's concepts and combining with local culture can enrich the hotels' brand image and bring business guests an extraordinary experience, making the spa a trump card for improving customer loyalty.
