China And South Korea Reach Agreement On New Routes

At the Sino-South Korean Aviation Meeting held on Hainan Island, China and South Korea reached agreement on opening three new airline routes between the two countries.

The Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs Ministry in Seoul said that both countries agreed to open shuttle flights linking Gimpo and Beijing, Incheon and Mudanjiang, and Incheon and Huangshan.

LTMAM said that when the Gimpo and Beijing route has been launched, it is expected that a new route linking the capitals of South Korea, China, and Japan will soon be opened. However, the date of the opening and the flight schedules for the Gimpo-Beijing line is scheduled for discussion at the working-level aviation meetings between the two countries later this year.
