Ibis Appoints Six New General Managers In China
Ibis, Accor's economy brand, has just appointed new general mangers to six of its hotels in China.
Pengyu Cheng has been appointed general manager of Hotel Ibis Hang Tian Xichang. He has a wide range of experience in the hospitality industry with hotels such as Hilton Brussels Hotel, Hotel Ibis Gare Du Midi Brussels, and Sheraton Hotel Shenyang Lido. Prior to joining Accor Group Cheng was the assistant to the hotel director of Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Company's "Rhapsody of the Sea". He graduated from Brussels Business School for Hotel Management and holds a master's degree in human science.
Vivian Dong has been appointed general manager of Hotel Ibis Harbin Shangzhi. She worked in JinJiang hotel group and KunLun hotel group and more than 10 years hotel management experience in the front office and human resources departments. Prior to joining Hotel Ibis Harbin Shangzhi, Dong was the director of sales and marketing for the KunLun hotel group.
Carol Guan has been appointed as general manager of Hotel Ibis Hailar. She previously worked at Hotel Ibis Shenyang the Center as front office manager since the hotel pre-opening. Before she joined Accor, she worked in the Traders Hotel Shenyang as duty manager and the service manager of the hotels executive club. She has more than 12 years experience in hotel operations and management.
Diana Cao has been appointed as general manager of the Hotel Ibis Qiqihar. She has more than 15 years experience in the hospitality industry, working with various hotel chains. Prior to this appointment, she worked as resident manager in Holiday Inn express Harbin.
Hill Zhu has been appointed as general manager of Hotel Ibis Dalian Sanba. He has more than 10 years experience in the hospitality industry with IHG hotels such as InterContinental Shenyang and Crowne Plaza Changshu. Prior to joining Accor Zhu was the front office manager at Crowne Plaza Changshu.
Robin Ma has been appointed as general manager Hotel Ibis Tanggu. He has more than 15 years experience in the hospitality industry with five-star hotels such as The Peninsula Palace hotel and InterContinental hotel. Prior to this post he was the general manager of Hotel Ibis TianWei.
