Carlson Hotels Worldwide has signed a management agreement with Chinese real estate developer Shenyang New Times Hotels Company for a new Radisson Plaza hotel in China's fifth largest city.
Scheduled to open in 2012, Radisson Plaza Hotel Shenyang Hunnan is the latest addition to Carlson's rapidly expanding portfolio of properties under development in China. The group recently also signed an agreement to manage the Radisson Plaza Hotel Sanya Lu Hui Tou.

The new 320-room hotel will be located in Shenyang's Central Business District area and close to the Shenyang International Exhibition Center.
Carlson currently has six properties under development in China including the Radisson Plaza Hotel Tianjin which will open by mid-2009 this year. Overall, the group has over 12,000 rooms under development in Asia Pacific and plans to double its regional portfolio over the next four years, between 2008 and 2012, with a focus on key markets such as China, India, Thailand, and the South Pacific.
