The China National Convention Center in Beijing has recently appointed Jenny Salsbury as its senior director of sales and marketing.
She joins the center from the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. As director of marketing and sales from 2004 to 2007 she was responsible for establishing the pre-opening sales and marketing teams and for setting the direction of sales for the first two years of operation. Formerly the director of conferences at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow, Salsbury spent eight years in the British convention industry.
Prior to this, Salsbury, a native of Hong Kong, spent 13 years marketing and selling Hong Kong as a site for international conferences and incentive groups.
