Two top managers have been appointed to Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao/Chengyang, the latest addition to the Hilton Family in Shangdong province.

Stefan Schmid has been appointed as the general manager of Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao/Chengyang. Originally from Austria, Schmid has extensive working experience in hotel industry. Over the past 19 years, he worked with Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, Hilton Salalah Resort, Nile Hilton Hotel, Le Meridien Dubai, Sheraton Soma Bay Resort and other international hotels. Prior to this new appointment, he was the director of operations of the Hilton Shanghai.

Tony Ma Tony Ma has been appointed as the director of business development of Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao/Chengyang. Prior to this position, he was director of sales and marketing of Shangri-La Golden Flower Xi'an and director of sales of Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao. In his new role, Ma will oversee all sales, public relations, and revenue management activities.
