Hotels.com Launches Chinese Website

Hotels.com, one of the world's top professional hotel chain websites, has announced the official launch of its Chinese website: Hotels.cn.

Hotel.cn is a joint effort of Hotels.com global and eLong.com. ELong.com's membership platform provides Hotels.com Chinese users with quick access to information about 7,000 hotels in more than 400 Chinese cities, including the telephone numbers and payment methods of the hotels. In addition, users can also search the Chinese site for information about more than 100,000 overseas hotels and book hotel rooms online.

Hotels.com was put into operation in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan in 2008. The new Chinese site is part of the company's development plan for Asia-Pacific region.

Johan Svanstrom, the executive president of Hotels.com Asia-Pacific region, said that the launch of Hotels.cn shows that Hotels.com is focusing more on Chinese market. He believes the combination of Hotels.com's rich overseas hotel information and the local professional service combined with the local hotel directory offered by eLong.com will be the best choice for customers.
