InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the appointment of Alan Tam as the general manager of Holiday Inn Downtown Beijing.

His most recent position was general manager of Days Hotel & Suites Beijing. Prior to that, Tam held various positions including deputy general manager, director of rooms, director of marketing and front office manager with Regal Hotels, Shangri-La and New World Hotels in Xian, Beijing, Dalian, Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
