杜忠选被任命为东莞松山湖凯悦酒店新总经理。
在此任命之前，杜忠选在西安凯悦（阿房宫）酒店任总经理职位。此前他曾在北美工作18年，并成为少数几个在北美的凯悦酒店担任高层管理职务的中国精英之一。
