Marco Polo Hotels has announced the appointment of John Sartain as general manager of the Marco Polo Wuhan.

Sartain is an experienced hotelier with over 15 years experience of operating four and five-star hotels, and he has specific expertise in food and beverage. He has held positions with Jarvis Hotels and Metropole Hotels, and he had a long career with Hilton in the UK. Prior to joining Marco Polo, he was the general manager of The Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel in Singapore, the flagship hotel of the Millennium Copthorne Group.
