Loontiens Appointed GM At Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel

20100118hansloontiens Marriott International has announced that, after spending two years at the Renaissance Tianjin TEDA Hotel and Convention Centre, Hans Loontiens has be appointed as the of general manager of Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel.

He joined the Marriott Group in 2001 as director of sales and marketing at the Cairo Marriott Hotel and Omar Khayyam Casino. He was promoted to resident manager of the hotel three years later. In early 2007, he joined the Taba Heights Marriott Beach Resort as general manager and stayed with this hotel until he moved to Tianjin, China. Before joining the Marriott Group, Loontiens had previously worked in Abu Dhabi, Taipei, Wuxi and Shanghai.
