BITF Welcome Dinner 2010 At Mangrove Tree Resort

The Mangrove Tree Resort recently held the 2010 Boao International Travel Forum welcome dinner for 1,200 guests on its beachfront lawn in Yalong Bay. Guests including the former U.S. Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice; the impresario Julia Morley; Miss World; the film director Feng Xiaogang; and the artist Zhao Benshan, were welcomed to the pre-dinner cocktail party by the melody of "Welcome to Hainan" and by the general manger of the resort, Lu Desheng.

At the start of the welcome dinner Luo Baoming, the governor of Hainan, addressed the delegates and welcomed them to the Island. After the dinner, the guests walked along a red carpet on the beach heading to Yalong Bay's Center Square, the setting of the opening ceremony of BITF.
