Accor's 400th Hotel In Asia Pacific Opens In Beijing

The recently opened Mercure Beijing Downtown is the 400th Accor property in the Asia Pacific region and the group's ninth hotel in Beijing.

The 373-room four-star hotel is in the Chaoyang central business district of Beijing and is being pitched at both business travelers and the leisure market, due to its easy access to major office buildings such as SOHO, China Central Place, Shin Kong Plaza, and Wanda Plaza one hand, and its easy access via public transport to the city's major tourist attractions on the other hand.

All of the hotel's guest rooms, including 44 suites and 19 duplexes, are equipped with complimentary high speed Internet connection and guests staying in the 39 Privilege Rooms on the Executive Wing of the hotel are offered an array of additional services and amenities.

For meetings and events there is a 600 square meter pillar-less ballroom and seven flexible conference rooms equipped with high-tech conference equipment, WiFi Internet access and state-of-the-art audio-visual capabilities. In addition there a central garden that is available for customized outdoor events.

The hotel also provides an extensive range of fitness and recreation facilities which include a fully-equipped fitness center, an indoor swimming pool and a sauna and massage rooms.
