Shangri-La Opens New Hotel In Beijing's China World Tower

The China World Summit Wing Hotel, Beijing, has opened on the top floors of the China World Tower.

As part of the Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts' family, the new hotel provides direct access to shops in the China World mall as well as to luxury apartments; the regional headquarters of multinational and Chinese corporations; and the exhibition hall. The hotel features 278 guestrooms including 29 suites on levels 64 to 77, with floor-to-ceiling views of the city and an average guestroom size of 65 square meters.

One of the key features at the hotel is The Summit Lobby, the hotel's main entrance, with an area size of 1,780 square meters and a ceiling soaring up nine meters. For the relaxation and recreation of guests, the hotel features a lifestyle sanctuary with 24-hour gymnasium and indoor infinity swimming pool on level 78, as well as Chi, The Spa, Shangri-La's signature spa brand and Beijing's highest spa retreat on level 77, with six treatment rooms.

China World Summit Wing, Beijing, also unveils 5,500 square meters of conference and banqueting space. Dominating the third floor is the Summit Ballroom, the largest pillar-free ballroom in a deluxe hotel in Beijing. Additional facilities include a rooftop Pine Garden on level six, a 95-seat auditorium and 12 function rooms, all with natural daylight and ranging in size from 44 to 269 square meters. Meeting organizers benefit from a dedicated events manager, a meetings butler and an audio-visual technician on standby at all occasions.

China World Trade Center opened 20 years ago and it includes hotels, offices, apartments, exhibition halls and a shopping mall. China World Tower is part of the phase three project, the latest chapter for China World Trade Center.
