Crowne Plaza Yichang Set To Open In November

The 283-room five-star Crowne Plaza Yichang is scheduled to open on November 26, 2010.

Located at the bank of Yangtze River, Crowne Plaza Yichang is reported to be the first five-star international hotel in this town. It is only 2.5 kilometers away from the nearest railway station, 20 kilometers from the airport, and 38 kilometers from the well-known Three Gorges Dam.

At 1,080 square meters the pillar-less Crowne Ballroom is the largest one in town, and it boasts an 8.1-meter-high ceiling. For meetings and events the hotel has 11 multi-function rooms different sizes in addition to the ballroom.

For food and beverage the hotel offers Coffee No.1, a western restaurant; Nippon the first Japanese Restaurant in Yichang; and Tianxia Yipin, a Chinese restaurant.
