The Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel has appointed Benson Shi as the hotel's director of marketing.

His hotel career started with Starwood Hotels and has spanned over 10 years. Most recently, Shi was director of sales and marketing at two other deluxe properties in the city — Golden Tulip Hotels and the Langham Eaton Luxe Shanghai.
