Sam Chen has been appointed as the new director of sales and marketing of Crowne Plaza Lake Malaren Shanghai.

Chen has more than 10 years of professional hospitality and tourism experience with major hotel groups including Gloria Plaza and Starwood. He graduated with a master of science degree in hotel, restaurant, and tourism management from the University of South Carolina in the USA. Prior to this assignment, he was the vice general manager in charge of sales and marketing for Taihu Golf Hotel.
