Stephan Stoss has been appointed as the new general manager of Sanya Marriott Resort and Spa.

German-born Stoss has enjoyed a long career with Marriott International and is returning to China for a second time. He has also held senior positions in Hungary, The Philippines, Russia, and Thailand. Prior to this post Stoss served as a cluster general manager for several key Marriott branded properties in Phuket, Thailand.
