GreenTree Inns Hotel Group Management Company is realigning its budget brand with the renaming of some of its franchised hotels in China.

It has started by renaming its two hotels in Shanghai. The former GreenTree Inn Shanghai JingAn Hotel is now known as GreenTree Inn Shanghai JingAn XinZha Road Hotel, and the GreenTree Inn Shanghai No.2 JingAn Hotel which is going to be opened in Novemberis now called the GreenTree Inn Shanghai JingAn WuDing Road Hotel.

Both located in JingAn district in Shanghai, the GreenTree Inn XinZha Hotel and GreenTree Inn WuDing Hotel are close to each other. The standardization of their titles is to show their locations more clearly in order to prevent confusion among customers.

As one of the first wholly foreign owned hotel chains in China, GreenTree Inn will have three new member hotels opening soon. This includes GreenTree Inn Dongguan Changan TianZheng Express hotel, GreenTree Inn Yitianxia Road Hotel and the newly-named GreenTree Inn Shanghai JingAn WuDing Road Hotel. With the opening of these hotels, GreenTree Inn will have 16 hotels in China.

GreenTree Inns Hotel Group Management Company is a foreign owned hotel group invested in by American Pacific Homes, one of the partners of Coldwell Banker George Realty; Tone Yee investment, one of the partners of Cox Castle Nicholson; and some other international companies based around the world.
