Jinshan District Government announced today that fruit picking and tasting tours have kicked-off successfully.

Eating peaches, trying grapes, tasting Duolisheng watermelons, and even purchasing your favourites are all now a reality for urban visitors of Jinshan. Since the Shanghai One-Day Travel Agency launched the travel routes Tour to Taste Fruits in Jinshan at the end of last month, ticket sales have been steady and the first 50 visitors from Shanghai have participated in several activities.

The tour includes a visit to the World Women's Beach Volleyball court and modern coastal-scape, the only peach production base in Shanghai and Baiyang Ecological Garden, as well as grape picking and tasting.  With the development and opening-up of Jinshan's fruit production park to visitors, high-quality agricultural products, such as Duolisheng watermelons and Ganxiang grapes will attract more and more urban citizens, which as a result will greatly increase the awareness of speciality agricultural products.
