In order to provide more convenience for tourists, Chongqing Travel Bureau plans to add three new routes for traveling to the Three Gorges.

The new routes are as follows: a highway from Chongqing to Wanzhou, a special train from Chengdu to Wanzhou, and traveling from Suining to Wanzhou by train. With these three routes, tourists can visit the Three Gorges directly from Wanzhou.

The special train is seen as particularly convenient, and it only takes 10 hours to cover the whole line, meaning that citizens of Chengdu can go to Wanzhou on Friday night, and arrive back on Monday morning.
