The price for traveling to Thailand this October is 5000rmb – cause for concern for many travelers, as it costs 80% more than during the summer vacation.

As a matter of fact, prices to travel to Southeast Asia have, on an average, increased by 80%, and to Europe 10%. The airfare alone to Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore has been doubled, reaching nearly 3000rmb. The airlines have offered a simple explanation: The price for the travel group was too low in the past, so the markup seems obvious.
