During the 2011 Shanghai Formula One Race the British Virgin Racing Team stayed at Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai Hong Quan, which hosted a Formula One welcome party for British Virgin Team with special appearances by Virgin Team driver Lucas di Grassi and Hong Kong actress Kate Tsui. Timo Glock of the Virgin racing team was welcomed to the hotel by Joe Tang, the director of revenue of Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai Hong Quan.
