Anthony Mahon has been appointed as the general manager of Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai.

With 20 years of working experience in various locations in Australia, Mahon is joining the IHG Greater China region from his role as general manager of Holiday Inn Cairns, a position he held for the last five years. Prior to that, he held the position of senior general manager overseeing the operation of one Crowne Plaza hotel and two Holiday Inn hotels in Darwin, Australia.
