Regal Hotels International recently appointed Stephen J Alexander FIH as general manager of Regal Jinfeng Hotel in Shanghai.

British-born Alexander started his career in the hotel industry in 1977 in five-star hotels working for Accor, Howard Johnson International (China), New World Hotels, Starwood, and Swissotel; and he has worked in the UK, France, the USA, and extensively in Asia. Prior to joining the Regal Jinfeng Hotel, he was the general manager of the Howard Johnson Plaza Shanghai for three years.
