Deutsche Messe AG has signed a cooperation agreement with IFEMA, which states that Hannover Fairs China Limited and IFEMA will jointly host the Guangzhou International Travel Fair starting from 2009.
The two companies' cooperation aims to improve the international, professional and brand level of Guangzhou International Travel Fair and provide higher quality services for domestic and international delegates and visitors. The Guangzhou International Travel Fair has been held fifteen times by Guangdong Tourism Bureau and Guangzhou Tourism Bureau since 1993, and has become one of the most important international annual travel fairs in the Asian region.
IFEMA which has successfully hosted FITUR in Madrid will take advantage of its experience with the Guangzhou International Travel Fair, and combined Hannover Fairs China Limited familiarity with the Chinese MICE market, the fair will bring more business opportunities. DMAG And IFEMA will cooperate on aspects of capital, brands, marketing and business attraction and share resources with each other.
The Guangzhou International Travel Fair is expected to become the largest international travel fair in south China by taking advantage of its predominant geographic location and powerful international resources.
