The Westin Beijing Chaoyang has appointed Sally Yang as its director of sales and marketing.

A Chinese national, Yang has been with Starwood Hotels and Resorts for close to 15 years. She started her hotel career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts at The Sheraton Guilin, China. Her appointments within the group include a two-year stint in New Zealand at the group's regional sales office. Prior to joining The Westin Beijing Chaoyang, Yang was at The Sheraton Guiyang in the same capacity, where she was a member of the opening team.

In her new posting, Yang takes charge of hotel's sales, marketing, meetings and events.
