The five-star Regal International East Asia Hotel in Shanghai is about to re-open its new ballroom and meeting center after a face-lift which cost US$3 million.

The new ballroom and meeting center is scheduled to open in the first half of March 2007.

Located on the second floor of the hotel, the new ballroom and meeting center cover 575 square meters and can hold 600 people. It is being marketed as an ideal place for holding various meetings, exhibitions or private parties.

There are also 12 small meeting rooms of various sizes that can hold up to 100 people. All of these rooms are equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment and technology, wireless high-speed internet and other necessary modern features needed for carrying out business in style.
