Africa travel has warmed up with Chinese President Hu Jintao's official tour to eight African countries.
Wang Chen, marketing director of Hua Yuan International Travel Company, says that during this year's Spring Festival, the number of tourists who are going to visit Africa has increased by 30%-40% compared with that of last year. In the meantime, many African travel agencies have come to China to discuss cooperation with Chinese local travel agencies.
Wang says that Hua Yuan has named the year of 2007 as its African Year and launched a number of themed tours to Africa for the different periods of the year, including the 8-day South Africa Cape Town Jazz Festival trip and Tunis Desert Trip which is will occur from April to May.
