Qingchengshan and Dujiangyan, two scenic spots in Sichuan Province, have just passed the national 5A scenic spot assessment, and they are now planning to invest RMB1 billion to build themselves into the best holiday resorts in China.

So far, a layout has been made for Qingcheng Shan – Dujiangyan International Leisure and Holiday Travel Resort, which is designed to be one of the best holiday resorts in China. According to the layout, the scenic spot will be divided into three parts: the core area, the expanding area and the protected area.

They will also build a light rail between Chengdu and Dujiangyan as well as four bridges across the Minjiang River in Dujiangyan in order to speed up the development of travel industry in Qingchengshan and Dujiangyan.

The layout plans for Qingchengshan and Dujiangyan to be equipped with international standard facilities and become a competitive Chinese holiday resort in the Asian region within two years and become a world holiday resort of influence in three years.
